Journey Workshops

At Journey you will have the opportunity to attend two workshops - here are the topic descriptions:

(Please note, some workshops are only offered during one session while others are offered during both sessions.)

First Session:

Anxious and Overwhelmed | Jess Dager
Word-centered perspective and practical guidance for those feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious on campus.

Meet with God?  Let Me Check My Calendar | Glenn Balsis
What if it was possible for you to interact personally and profoundly with God? Consider three simple and life altering adjustments to your daily, weekly, and monthly rhythm that will set you up to encounter God in ways that transform you.

Navigating Navs | Ben Dager
Did you know the Navigators is a world-wide, missions movement and has been developing and mobilizing world-changers for Christ for nearly 90 years? Designed for advanced planners, maximize-rs, and those who like to ask questions, let us help you think through how to take advantage of your years on campus. With an open mind and a little advanced planning, you can graduate with your degree, and character transforming, local, regional, and international experiences that will help you participate in Jesus’ Great Commission wherever He takes you.

Sharing His Story by Telling Yours | Logan Watson
When we share the good news about Jesus without relating it to real life, our friends often hear religious information rather than about a genuine transformation.  Your testimony reveals how the real Jesus is making a difference in the real you. Come discover your story and get some coaching on how to share it with others.

Bible Studies People Won’t Want to Miss | Brittany Larson
Leading a Navs small group? In a Navs Bible study and want to get more out of it? The title says it all. Vision, encouragement, and some practical tips for leaders and members.

Going on a Missions Trip… Across the Hall | Jordan Larson
STUDENTS LIVING IN DORMS PLEASE CONSIDER THIS WORKSHOP! If you live in a Res Hall, you live in one of the most strategic spaces for world missions. Come learn from two Navigator staff who lived and ministered in Res Halls throughout college, served as R.A.s, and are passionate to see you trust Christ right where you live.

Leaving a Spiritual Legacy | Patriece Johnson
Sow a thought, reap an action.
Sow an action reap a habit.
Sow a habit, reap a character.
Sow a character, reap a legacy.
The definitions of success we adopt as students launch us into the rest of life. Come consider God’s desire for your legacy, both on your campus and beyond.
